The pop culture phenom “I Love New York” marketing logo was created in 1977 by Milton Glaser.  It has since spawned thousands of knockoff signs and logos.  Over the past few years, some among us have resorted to pronouncing the “heart” character as it is written.   Do you say “I love this fettuccini!”?  Or, in a romantic moment, do you utter sweetly, “I heart you”?
